What if this year you just focus on being happy, balanced and fueling your body with whole delicious food that makes you feel awesome?
Not just for the month of January, but for the entire year, and rest of your life. No diets. Nothing fancy. Just real food.
I know what it feels like to be totally lost when it comes to what to eat, how to prepare, finding the time, making it affordable and finding the right motivation, support and accountability.
Eating well doesn't need to be difficult or complex. In fact, it can be downright simple and fun.
When you are in good health, make sure you have a good diet, get enough sleep and drink, exercise and medical check-ups, then your body is able to defend itself against sickness and toxins.
But if you notice that this is not the case, for example you experience intestinal problems, irregularity in your weight or tiredness, a detox can help you.
The process of eliminating toxins occurs daily in our body. However, a bad diet, based on junk food and a lot of sugar, can tire the liver because these foods are difficult to metabolize.
That is why you should have a healthy diet high in nutrients.
If you want to make a change in your diet, start first with a detoxification. This process is natural and occurs only on a daily basis if you eat healthy food and are not exposed to any toxins.
Unfortunately, it is not enough to just eat whole foods from time to time. We also have to take into account that we are exposed to all kinds of toxins on a daily basis. These can come from medicines, non-organic products, cleaning products, fabrics or pollution among others.
For your body to function properly, you need to get rid of these toxins through detoxification. That way, the fat-soluble toxins can be transformed into water-soluble substances that are easier to eliminate. For this, it is necessary that you have an adequate intake of fluids, fiber, minerals, vitamins and micronutrients.
You should know that juice fasts of a couple of days for example, are not effective, and can actually be more toxic. The detoxification works in two phases.
The first one deals with metabolizing toxins through chemical reactions to make them less harmful.
The second one transports the toxins and eliminates them.
Therefore, if the second phase does not take place, all the toxins remain accumulated in the blood, and this can be very harmful to your body.
This is exactly why I will guide you through my Restore & Nourish Program.
It focuses on food abundance and allows you to get all the nutrients you need for a proper detox.
The program consists of weekly meal plans with recipes loaded with the best ingredients, a prep guide and shopping list for the week.
During the whole program, you will have all my support and best advice to make sure you go well and eliminate all the toxins from your body in order to get back to good health!
