The weight that crept in without asking?
Let’s put things right, gently.
Six Tuesdays in Montignac-de-Lauzun, in English or in French. Real food for the body you actually have, because we’re all made differently.
In short: a six-week group programme with Catherine Polet, holistic nutrition health coach in southwest France. We meet every Tuesday from 20 October to 24 November 2026 at the salle des fêtes in Montignac-de-Lauzun, in the north of the Lot-et-Garonne, about 20 minutes from Eymet and 15 from Miramont-de-Guyenne: the English group at 10:00, the French group at 15:00. Each session lasts 90 minutes, followed by an optional 30 minutes for your questions. Six sessions, €180.
Working on Tuesdays? I’m planning a third group in the evening. Tell me which time would suit you.
Does this sound familiar?
You haven’t changed much. You eat more or less what you always ate. And yet, somewhere in the last few years, the weight crept in, mostly around the middle. Your energy dips at four in the afternoon, you wake at three in the morning, and what worked at thirty-five doesn’t seem to work any more.
It isn’t a lack of willpower. In midlife your body changes the rules: hormones shift, sleep gets lighter, stress lands differently and muscles need more looking after. Once you understand what changed, you can work with your body again instead of against it.
That’s what these six Tuesdays are for. And honestly, it’s so much easier, and a lot more fun, when you don’t do it alone.
What happens over the six weeks?
Each Tuesday covers one part of the picture. Together, they’re the five things that really move weight and energy in midlife: food, sleep, stress, hormones and energy.
Tuesday 20 October: Where you are, and why it changed. What actually shifts in midlife, why the diet that worked before doesn’t now, and your own starting point, without judgement.
Tuesday 27 October: Your plate. Protein, fibre and steady blood sugar: meals that keep you full until the next one, with food you already buy at the market.
Tuesday 3 November: Sleep. The 3am waking, the dark evenings after the clocks go back, and why the day starts the night before.
Tuesday 10 November: Stress and comfort eating. Cortisol, cravings and kinder ways to unwind that don’t live in the biscuit tin.
Tuesday 17 November: Hormones and muscle. Perimenopause, menopause, and why strength matters more every year.
Tuesday 24 November: Steady energy, your way. Putting it all together into a simple plan that fits your life, not someone else’s.
No strict diet, no calorie counting, no weighing in front of anyone. Small, realistic changes, one week at a time, in a warm, friendly group where nobody is judged. Come on your own or bring a friend.

Who will you be working with?
I’m Catherine Polet, a holistic nutrition health coach. I’ve been teaching and guiding people towards better health since 1994, first as a yoga teacher, then also with autogenic training, a simple relaxation method that’s wonderful for sleep and stress. In 2018 I added nutrition, after training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Since then I’ve coached people all over the world, in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Today I do it from my old stone house in southwest France, and I’m so happy to offer this work in person too, here in the Lot-et-Garonne.
I’m in midlife too, so I know this stage from the inside. My approach is warm, practical and realistic: real food, small steps, and no one-size-fits-all plans. You can read more about me here, or book a free 20-minute video chat if you’d like to meet me first.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this programme for?
For anyone who feels their body isn’t responding the way it used to and wants to understand why. Most of the people I work with are women in their forties, fifties and beyond, but younger women are very welcome, and so are men: food, sleep, stress and energy matter to all of us. You don’t need any knowledge of nutrition to join.
Will I lose weight?
I can’t promise a number on the scales, and I won’t weigh anyone. What I can tell you is what people usually notice when they work this way: clothes that fit more comfortably, a calmer appetite and fewer cravings, better sleep, and energy that lasts through the afternoon. When food, sleep and stress start working together, the weight tends to follow. And you’ll leave with a plan made for you, so you can keep going long after the six weeks.
Do I have to follow a diet?
No. There’s no diet, no forbidden foods and no calorie counting. We work with real food and with what you already enjoy.
What happens after I book?
You’ll receive a confirmation email and be taken straight to a short questionnaire about your health, your sleep and how you eat today. Please fill it in by Friday 16 October: I use it to get to know you, to prepare your personalised plan and to shape the six sessions around the group. Your answers stay strictly between us.
I’m not sure it’s right for me. Can we talk first?
Of course. Book a free 20-minute video chat with me and we’ll see together whether the programme suits you. There’s no obligation.
I work during the day. Can I still join?
Yes, I hope so! Add your name to the evening list at the bottom of this page, with your preferred language and start time. As soon as there are enough of you, I’ll open a Tuesday evening group this autumn and write to you first.
What’s included in the €180?
Six 90-minute sessions with optional question time, a handout each week, a personalised plan based on your questionnaire, and a WhatsApp group for your group, where I support you between sessions for the six weeks.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes. Email me first at hello@catherinepolet.coach and I’ll send you the questionnaire. Your place is confirmed once I’ve received it, by Friday 16 October at the latest, and you pay the €180 in cash at the first session. Without the questionnaire by that date, I can’t keep your place.
Which group should I choose?
The English group meets at 10:00 and the French group at 15:00. The content is the same, so choose the language and time that suit you best. Whichever group you join, I can answer your questions in English or French, and in Spanish or German too if that’s easier for you.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. Let me know and I’ll catch you up during question time the following week.
I take medication or have a health condition. Can I join?
Yes. Please talk to your doctor about any change to your medication or treatment. This programme supports the food and lifestyle side and doesn’t replace medical care.
Can I get a refund?
If you cancel before the first session on 20 October, you’ll get a full refund. After that, you can move your place to the next group, or pass it on to a friend.
Ready to join us?
Six Tuesdays from now, you could understand your body better than you have in years, and have a plan that’s truly yours. I’d love to have you with us. Bookings close on Friday 16 October. Choose your group below. You’ll pay securely by card, receive a confirmation email straight away, and then fill in a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and prepare your personalised plan.
Not sure yet? Book a free 20-minute video chat and we’ll see together whether it’s right for you. You can also write to me at hello@catherinepolet.coach, including if you’d rather pay in cash.
Can’t make it during the day?
If you work on Tuesdays and would still like to join this autumn, add your name to the evening list. Tell me which language and which start time would suit you. As soon as there are enough of you, I’ll open a Tuesday evening group and write to you first. There’s no payment and no commitment at this stage.
