Why I love overnight oats and you should too!

Not enough time in the morning for breakfast? That’s probably one of the best reasons to try them!
I love overnight oats, because you can prepare them while cooking your dinner. You’re already in the kitchen, so while the dinner is cooking, bring out some oats, fruits and let your creativity take over.
I usually prep them with hazelnut milk — my favorite — and depending on my mood or the fruits I have, top them with bananas, blueberries and some nuts and seeds.
In just a couple of minutes your nutrient-dense breakfast is ready. Leave it in the fridge and you are good to go the next day.
Overnight oats are good for your health. They are loaded with nutrients like fiber, protein, magnesium, potassium, and omega 3 fatty acids, among other things. Plus, oats don’t contain added sugar.
Nutrients — Let’s dive into the details
On top of containing zinc, B vitamins, fiber, protein and carbohydrates, overnight oats have a high quantity of iron which is good for your muscles.
The soluble fibers in overnight oats help maintain a healthy weight and lower your risk of diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer.
Zinc helps control the body's hormones and boosts your immune system. It also prevents thyroid related problems like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
Biotin helps fight skin diseases like rashes and yeasts. It is good for neurotransmission, which benefits communication and memory skills. Without forgetting that it helps absorb nutrients like carbohydrates.
B vitamins are a group of nutrients that play many important roles in your body. They have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism.
Lastly, thinking that carbohydrates will stop you from losing weight is just a myth. Healthy carbohydrates actually are your body's main source of energy. They help fuel your brain, kidneys, heart muscles, and central nervous system.
I could go more into details of all the health benefits of overnight oats. But I think you get the point.
