Back to what I love: Holistic Nutrition Health Coaching

In short: After a long pause, I’m back to holistic nutrition health coaching. I help you find a way of eating that suits your body, get your energy back, sleep better and feel calmer, especially through midlife and hormonal changes. I coach online in English, French, German and Spanish, and in person if you live near me in Southwest France.
My last article here was at the end of 2023. I coached from 2018 to 2024, and then I went quiet. No new posts, no new programmes, no new clients. If you were one of the people who kept liking my old posts during that time, thank you. I saw it, and it touched me more than you know.
Why did I stop coaching?
I needed a break. Not a holiday, a real pause. For years I had helped other people slow down and listen to themselves, and I realised it was my turn to do the same.
I wanted time to come back to myself, to slow down and to find my roots again. At the same time, I was preparing a big change. I retired from my other work, found a house and got ready to move to Southwest France to start a new chapter of my life.
A move like that is a strange mix of excitement and fatigue: boxes, paperwork, goodbyes and a hundred small decisions every day. It reminded me of something I had always told my clients. Knowing what is good for you is one thing. Doing it when life is full is something else entirely.
What does life look like now?
Now I’m here, surrounded by countryside, and life is slower. I eat with the seasons, I cook simply, and I finally have time to think about what really matters to me.
Slowing down taught me a lot. When I stopped rushing, I could hear my body again: when I was really hungry, when I needed rest, when a walk would do me more good than another coffee. That is exactly what I want to help you rediscover, even if your own life is still very full.
Why am I coming back to nutrition coaching?
Because it kept coming back to me. I missed sitting with someone and working out together what their body actually needs. I missed that moment when a client says, “I didn’t know I could feel this good again.”
For a while, I called myself a Joy & Fulfillment Catalyst. I still believe that joy is what we all really want: to feel good in our life and at home in our body. But most people don’t come to me saying “I want more joy.” They come because they’re tired, stressed, not sleeping well, or no longer recognise the body they’re living in.
So I’m starting where you are. When your energy comes back, when you sleep better and feel calmer, joy and fulfilment tend to follow on their own. They are the lovely side effect of taking care of yourself.
What is holistic nutrition health coaching?
Holistic nutrition health coaching looks at the whole of you, not just your plate. What you eat matters, of course. But so do your sleep, your stress, how you move, your relationships, your work and the things that make you happy. They all affect each other.
A health coach doesn’t hand you a strict diet and wish you luck. We work together, step by step, to find small changes that fit your real life and that you can keep. I don’t diagnose or treat illness. If you have a medical condition, I work alongside your doctor, never instead of them.
What hasn’t changed in how I work?
I still don’t believe in one diet for everyone. Your body isn’t your neighbour’s body. Your sleep, your stress, your history, your age, your job and even your taste buds all play a part. This is called bio-individuality, and it’s at the heart of everything I do. Put simply, what works for you is personal. A good plan starts with you, not with a rule.
So there are no extreme plans, no counting every bite and no guilt. We look at what you eat, how you sleep, how you handle stress and how much energy you have, because it’s all connected.
I also bring in what I’ve practised for more than 30 years: yoga, and autogenic training, a simple relaxation method that quiets a busy mind and helps your body switch off. Many of my clients are surprised how much better they eat once they are less stressed.
Who can I help?
You might recognise yourself in one of these:
You’re tired all the time. You wake up tired, you need coffee to get going and something sweet to keep going in the afternoon.
You’re stressed and close to burnout. Your mind doesn’t stop, and food has become either an afterthought or a comfort.
You don’t sleep well. You fall asleep exhausted but wake at 3 a.m. with your thoughts racing.
Your body is changing. You’re in perimenopause or menopause, your usual way of eating no longer works and you don’t know where to start. I’ve written 18 answers to the questions women ask me most.
You’re tired of diets. You’ve tried them all, they worked for a while, and then they didn’t. You want something calmer and kinder that lasts.
You simply want to eat better. Nothing is wrong, but you know you could feel more alive, and you’d like a guide by your side.
What happens in a coaching session?
In our first session, we talk. I want to understand your story: your health, your habits, your days, what you’ve already tried and what you really want. There are no wrong answers and no judgement.
Together we choose one or two small changes to start with. Not twenty. Small changes are the ones that stick. Between sessions, you try them out in your real life. Next time, we look at what worked, what didn’t and why, and we adjust. Little by little, you build a way of eating and living that feels natural to you.
How can we work together?
I coach mostly online, by video, in English, French, Spanish or German. If you live nearby, we can also meet in person here in Southwest France.
Coaching packages of three or six months. This is how most of my clients work with me, because real change needs a little time and support.
A single session. When you need help with one specific question, or a check-in after a programme.
Small groups of six weeks. Locally or online, for those who like to learn and share with others.
You’ll find all the details and prices on my Work With Me page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you coach online?
Yes. Most of my coaching happens online by video, so you can work with me wherever you live. If you live near me in Southwest France, we can also meet in person.
Which languages do you coach in?
I coach in English, French, German and Spanish.
Is a health coach the same as a dietitian or a doctor?
No. A doctor or dietitian diagnoses and treats medical conditions. As a health coach, I help you change your habits in a way that suits your body and your life, and I work alongside your medical care, never instead of it.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Book a free 20-minute call. We’ll talk about where you are and what you’d like to change, and you’ll know whether working together feels right. There is no pressure at all.
