What is a group coaching program?
Everyone is on a different path in life. The sooner you recognize and accept it, the sooner you will make the right decisions for yourself, where you are, and, above all, where you are going.
In a group coaching program, you do not have the advantage of having a coach who focuses exclusively on you. However, you get many other values. These benefits will continue to help you beyond this initial coaching experience.
The benefits of group coaching
Have you ever wondered if group coaching is right for you? More than once, you will find yourself in a situation where you would have liked to exchange ideas with like-minded people, learn from those who have done what you wanted, or find inspiration to think outside the box and act.
When you are part of a group of like-minded people, the following happens:
You realize that you are not alone in your thinking.
You will see that your thoughts are almost identical to those of others. You will see others doubting themselves just as you face this thought and overcome it together. When you realize this, you become a little more compassionate with yourself because you know that you are not alone in struggling with the feeling that it is enough.
You learn what stories you tell yourself.
Yes, stories. Stories are always told — excuses, rationalizations, or limiting beliefs. When you work with others, they invite you to tell these stories and encourage you to take action. As you act, the stories that hold you back become stories that you will laugh at later and badges of honor that you will share with others as they face up to their own stories.
Together you will find a solution to every problem.
The great thing about a group is that the members of your group become your additional coaches. You will always find creative solutions to your problems, and the answer comes from the person you least expect. The leader does not always have the best solution for every situation. Still, if you work with a leader who encourages cooperation, risk-taking, and exchange, you can be sure that someone at the table will offer you a solution you haven't thought of that can help you solve your problem.
You do more in your life because your group holds you accountable.
People overestimate again and again what they can accomplish in a short time. Your group will help you meet commitments that you can meet, and you will feel responsible for showing up and doing what you need to do because you don't want to be the only person who hasn't made any progress at the next group meeting. Sometimes you may feel a little uncomfortable, but you learn to feel comfortable with the inconvenience as part of your growth strategy.
These groups can not only foster relationships but much more. Needless to say, if you invest in building relationships with group members, you can make friendships that last a lifetime.
I don't know what you think, but I can't award some of the relationships I have in my life, and I am always grateful to those who support me when I need them most.
If you're looking for this kind of support, here's your official invitation to take a look at my coaching program to see if it's right for you. I will start the next group coaching program on January 2, 2023.
