Autogenic Training (AT) is a powerful mind and body technique involving simple relaxation and body awareness exercises. These reduce the intensity of the body's stress response and replace it with a calmer physiological state.
The basic AT exercises focus on various physical manifestations of relaxation in the body:
It is autogenic: a self-generated process, so you will not depend on a voice, environment, or time.
It is fast: once learned, the exercises take only 10 minutes.
It is cost-effective: no special equipment or clothes are required.
It can be practiced almost anywhere, depending on your available time.
How will Autogenic Training benefit you?
Autogenic Training is an effective tool for self-empowerment, and you will feel more in control. It increases confidence, self-esteem, concentration, and focus and reduces or eliminates anxiety. It helps you switch from stress to relaxation and improves your sleep quality.
Investing your time in practicing Autogenic Training is creating a skill set. You aim to develop it to the point that it is an automatic response and can be used in many stressful settings and circumstances. You are learning by creating heaviness and warmth in your body in control of your blood flow throughout your body. This increased blood flow creates comfort that is more subjective, as well as increasing the possibility of healing and tranquillity.
I will teach you my revisited method of Autogenic Training. This process of body-mind self-regulation improves physical health and assists in the self-adjustment of cognitive and emotional functioning, leading to improvements in mood, thinking, and behavior.
When and how will the sessions be?
The program consists of 8 weekly sessions.
You will have a weekly session ― all Modules are available in the Imagine learning area. The sessions are online, allowing you to follow them at your convenience, according to your schedule.
